Mr Blue, born Khery Sameer Rajab, is a veteran Tanzanian Bongo Flava and Afro-pop artist known for his smooth vocals, romantic love songs, and major influence on Tanzania’s early modern music scene. He rose to fame in the mid-2000s with timeless hits like “Mapozi,” “Mboga Saba,” and “Nisamehe,” which dominated radio and clubs across East Africa.

Blending catchy melodies with heartfelt Swahili lyrics, Mr Blue became one of the most recognizable voices of his generation and helped shape the golden era of Bongo Flava. With years of consistency, hit records, and strong stage presence, he remains a respected figure in Tanzanian music.
