Lydia Jazmine

Lydia Jazmine, born Lydia Nabawanuka on 27 July 1991, is a celebrated Ugandan recording artist, singer, and songwriter known for her powerful voice and versatile blend of Afrobeat, contemporary R&B, and East African pop. She started her career as a backup vocalist for major Ugandan acts before breaking out with hits like “Nkubanja,” “Guno Omukwano,” and “You Know.” As the creative force behind LJ Music, Lydia has built a strong presence across East African music, represented her country on Coke Studio Africa, and released acclaimed projects that showcase her vocal range and artistic depth.
