Lava Lava (born Abdul Juma Idd on 27 March 1993) is a celebrated Tanzanian Bongo Flava and Afro-pop singer and songwriter known for his energetic vocals, hit singles like “Tuachane,” “Saula,” “Go Gaga,” and “Tuna Kikao,” and his ability to blend modern Tanzanian rhythms with mainstream appeal. As a prominent artist signed to WCB Wasafi, he has collaborated with leading East African musicians and helped shape the contemporary sound of Tanzanian urban music. Lava Lava’s popularity spans across East Africa, making him one of the standout performers of his generation.
