Sound of Pain (Acoustic) is a stripped-down, emotionally intimate acoustic project released on 8 May 2025 by Aslam Tz, the Tanzanian Bongo Flava singer-songwriter whose raw vocals and heartfelt lyricism have made him one of East Africa’s most resonant voices; the EP features acoustic renditions of his deeply felt songs—Moyo (Acoustic), Raha (Acoustic), Namuota (Acoustic), Wakuniliza (Acoustic), and Turudiane (Acoustic)— each brought to life with minimal instrumentation that places his voice and emotion at the forefront.
